Dr. Gregory A. Roadruck

Dr. Roadruck serves food animal, equine and small animal clients. He joined the Orrville Veterinary Clinic in 1980. Dr. Roadruck is active in the community and has been the school board president in Orrville since 1994. He and his wife, Carolyn, have two adult daughters, Allison and Lindsay, and 2 cats, Polly and Sophie.  

Dr. Jeffrey R. Fink

Dr. Fink joined the Orrville Veterinary Clinic, Inc. in 2002.  Dr. Fink is a proud alumni of The Ohio State University and was proud to represent the university on the field during his time in he Ohio State University Marching Band.   He has served on the board of directors for the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association for three terms.  In his spare time, Dr. Fink enjoys running, serving in the youth ministry at Orrville Christian Church, watching his kids participate in activities, coaching various youth sports, and raising animals on his farm outside of Dalton.  As a veterinarian, Dr. Fink is well rounded, with his passion focusing upon surgery.  He does orthopedic surgery, as well as several more difficult soft issue surgeries (including anal gland removal, gall bladder disorders, and many others).

Dr. Marissa Hofstetter

Dr. Hofstetter's veterinary interests include small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  Marissa enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, gardening, traveling, and watching Ohio State football.  She and her husband, Kyle, reside in Kidron with their daughters, Harper and Emery; their dogs, Scarlet and Lucy; and their cats, Ada & Levi.

Dr. Matt Friend
Associate Veterinarian

Meet our west Veterinarian:  

Dr. Matt Friend is a native of Grove City, OH.  He graduated from Miami University (OH) with a bachelors degree in Zoology in 2010.  He then attended vet school at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May 2014.  Upon graduation from Mississippi State, he began completion of a one year rotating internship at Memphis Veterinary Specialists in Memphis, Tennessee.  His interests include surgery, internal medicine and emergency care.  Dr. Friend completed several externships with our Orrville Vet Clinic during vet school and looks forward to joining OVC in June 2015.  In his free time, Dr. Friend enjoys an active lifestyle of hunting, fishing, golfing, and participating in CrossFit.  He will become a familiar face at Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic.

Lydia Friend
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Lydia Friend joined our practice in May 2017. She is originally from upstate New York. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a bachelors degree in pre-veterinary medicine, biology, and animal science in 2011. She then attended Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduation in May 2015. Prior to joining the Orrville Veterinary Clinic team, Lydia practiced in Sugarcreek, Ohio.  She and her husband, our own Dr. Matt Friend, reside in Kidron with their two dogs: Lola and Leroy. Dr. Lydia is certified in mixed animal acupuncture. Her other interests include small animal neurology, surgery , and exotic medicine. Dr. Lydia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking the dogs, and working out.  She is mainly based at our Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic, but may be seen at any of our three locations. 

Dr. Gabe E. Middleton
Dr. Middleton serves bovine, equine, and small ruminant clients in the area. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2008 and began working for OVC that year. He currently resides outside of Orrville with his wife, Megan; daughter , Kellyn; son, Eddie; son, Mason; and dog, Piper. Dr. Middleton enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and watching football (mainly Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes).  Dr. Middleton is presidentof the Council for Agriculture Science and Technology.  (C.A.S.T.)
Shelby Weeman
Office Manager

Shelby Weeman is the office manager at our Akron Barberton location.  She has worked a variety of jobs within our company for the past 8 years.  Shelby resides outside of Orrville with her cousins and her boxer, Riley.  In her spare time, she enjoys watching NASCAR, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and cleaning.

Kayla Triplett RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician

Kayla joined our staff in early 2016.  She brings a lot of experience with surgery and small animal anesthesia, as she previously worked for a low cost spay and neuter clinic.  Kayla and her husband welcomed their first child, a son, in the fall of 2016.  Kayla can be seen mainly at the Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic.

Nikki Penso
Registered Veterinary Technician

Nikki joined our practice in June of 2016.  She can be seen at all three of our clinics, with her main focus at the Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic.  In her free time, Nikki enjoys snowboarding and spending time with her friends and family.

Rebecca Klemons
Registered Veterinary Technician

Rebecca (Becca) Klemons joined our practice in 2017 and has been a great addition to our team.  She is passionate about patient care and has a high interest in emergency veterinary medicine.

Jessica Bender

Jessica joined our team in November 2017.  She can be seen working at all of our locations and is a great addition.
